Latest completed artwork for punk rock band Drones. You can purchase a t-shirt through their Label, Lockjaw Records as well as their EP Mutiny – be sure to check them out – they’re a killer.
Chris Brown Guitairs is building me my very own mandolin. Pretty exciting! Mandolin – Jointing the back.
Just over a month ago I did a photo shoot with skate punk thrashers, Darko.
I’d completely forgotten to publish them officially on my site! As I know all these guys quite well, the photo shoot was very laid back and easy. We did it where I live so it was quite a relaxed atmosphere anyway and I didn’t need to worry about forgetting anything as I could easily go and get it from my room. Considering this is my first ever band promo shoot, I’m pretty pleased with the results but look forward to shooting these guys again maybe in the new year. So go check out the photographs – Darko promo shoot.
So a couple of weeks back I saw The Flatliners at The Peel in Kingston. What can I say…. they were brilliant! sounded just like their
recording and of course, the crowd went off. Anyway, enough of my dribble – check out some photos!
Watched my new housemates band last night in London, and damn they were wicked! I really didn’t know what to expect but they had such a groove to their sound and some culture to their beats, some riffs took me away to an exotic island. With such a good vibe coming from the stage it was so easy to get up and join in the fun. Their animated faces made them fantastic to photograph and I hope I managed to capture some of their fun loving personalities.

Only a few photos in this set as I only managed to stay for about 15mins before having to leave. I’m pretty happy with these photos considering I was sick with a cold and feeling pretty shocking at the time! I’m gutted that I wasn’t well enough to hang around for longer and enjoy the gig as I really love listening to their music! But at least I got to stay for a few. The rest are up on my flickr page – JSCreative –ENJOY

It was absolutely wicked seeing a band that I have been listening to for so many years and experiencing their intense double time first hand.
Starting with Too Close got the crowd moving from the get go and as the night went on the atmosphere and music was pumping through everyone’s veins. Finishing with Matchbook left the crowd screaming for more… with Jason returning to the stage with an acoustic rendition of Virginia Madison and Scarlet before the rest of the band joined him on stage for two last songs.
All the bands that supported Strung Out had their own style of both stage presence and genre and pumped up the crowed for what turned out to be a memorable show. You should certainly check them all out:
